| | Cindy Aragon | | Owner, Jazz Director | | | | Cindy began dancing at the age of 5 at a local studio. She began apprenticing at 14 and started teaching at 16. After graduating from Rampart High School she was accepted to Mesa State College in Grand Junction Colorado in their business program. There at Mesa, Cindy began the kids dance program teaching jazz, ballet and tap to kids ages 4-12. After returning from Grand Junction, Cindy began teaching at several local dance studios in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. Cindy started teaching at SCB in the summer of 1993 and as the director of the SCB Jazz Company, her companies have won many choreography and overall awards. In 1999, Cindy was giving the opportunity to continue the love of dance from Ms. Vicki the former owner of Springs City Ballet. Since then she has continued to follow her dreams and continued teaching her love of dance to every student that walks through the doors of SCB. |
| Susanne Hubbs | | Ballet Director | | | | Susi began her dance training at the age of five at a small, love-filled school in Olympia Washington. She has trained at the Jan Collum School of Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Diego Ballet, and Dayton Ballet. She has performed wih Olympia Festival Ballet, Ballet Tacoma, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Dayton Ballet, Dayton II Ballet, Ballet Alaska, and American Contemporary Theatre - a small jazz company. Susi began teaching at age 15. Then after a year at the University of Utah, she began teaching again in Ohio; then, in Anchorage, Alaska. She also acted as rehearsal mistress and costumer for Ballet Alaska, in addition to teaching company classes. While in Alaska, Susi choreographed a dance called Poco-a-Poco which won the Young Choreagrapher's Award at the Pacific Regional Ballet Fesitival in 1985. Susi moved to Colorado Springs in 1990, and has been with SCB since it opened - teaching, sewing, and loving every minute of the craziness. |
| Sara Murdaugh | Ballet Assistant Director, Modern | | Sara Murdaugh comes from Longview, Washington where she received an AAS in Pre-Physical Therapy. In 2001 she received her BA in dance from San Jose State University where she graduated Cum Laude and received the "Senior of the Year Award" for excellence in performance, choreography and academics. While attending San Jose State University, under the tutelage of Janet VanSwoll, Gary Masters and Fred Mathews, she was invited to perform with the University Dance Theater, which enabled her to perform with the Limón Company as well as work with world-renowned choreographers. Sara has performed in various venues during her fifteen year career, including on the cruise ship The Big Red Boat. Her award winning choreography has been used all over the west for dance companies, musicals and competitions to name a few. Ms. Murdaugh has had the pleasure of working with all age levels in multiple positions including public schools and ice rinks. Through the years, Sara has had the honor to work with students that have been scholarship recipients in some of the best dance schools in the nation, as well as nationally recognized ice skaters. Currently a Cecchetti Qualified Teacher (teachers level V), Sara is the assistant director for the Spring City Ballet Company and teaches at several area studios, as well as performing with Mathtastic and the Ormao Dance Company.

| Britney Nunes | | Jazz Assistant Director, Lyrical | | | | Britney was raised in Colorado Springs. She started dance at the age of ten, and continues training locally. Britney is proficient in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. Britney has trained under Rozanne David, Tasha Redder, Richard Havey, and Jessica Star. She was personally picked by Brian Friedman to attend his two week long intensive in New York City. Britney was also chosen for a summer intensive with the American Ballet Theatre. She has received many high achievement awards from competitions and intensives. Britney’s choreography is new aged and different. She likes her choreography to stand out as “new” and “intriguing”. She likes to challenge her students to move differently and to move ways they have never thought of before. Britney likes to develop a “smart” dancer. She likes her dancers to dance with their minds as well as their bodies. Britney plans on continuing her training while she is attending UCCS for a degree in secondary education in mathematics. |
